How Painful is Perio Surgery?

With proper anesthesia, a Perio surgical procedure should not be painful.

Our anesthetic technique can help minimize pain; we use 2% lidocaine with 1:100,000 epinephrine, which provides anesthesia for the duration of the procedure.

However, post surgery it is recommended to take some pain reliever after the appointment to ease any residual post-surgical soreness.
